Yes, I know my name is a bit of a tongue twister, so I thought I’d try and make it easier to pronounce: My-er (as in “my” and “er” as in photograph”er”).
I grew up in a photography family and my first camera was a Kodak Instamatic. I can carry on about the darkroom I had when I was a kid and other random photography facts, but I’d much rather list a few other facts about myself below.
One of the highlights of my career was taking photos of Nelson Mandela in his hotel room with his 90th birthday celebrations here in London.
I enjoy shooting Rugby for a magazine on my free weekends and don’t even think of it as work.
Although we mostly shoot digital, I have a few film cameras that we sometimes take along on personal shoots. We even have our own darkroom set up at home – nothing beats the feeling of when you develop an image and see it come to life!
I love Camper shoes and bought my first pair at a sale a while ago – they are expensive!!
I am a wannabe bass guitar player and hope to be able to play a few tunes by the end of the year.
